How does the Data Validation feature (76310) work?

The Data validation feature isn't included in the standard Qualifio package. It has some additional, volume-based invoicing. For more information or to receive a quote, get in touch with your Customer Success Manager or send us an email.

How does the Postal Address validation work?

Postal address validation is done through a combination of algorithms and data sources, including national postal services, geolocation data, and other authoritative address registries. When an address is entered, the tool parses the input, standardises the format to a consistent structure, and checks for any discrepancies or errors. This process involves correcting common misspellings, updating outdated information, and validating the address against known postal records. The end result is a cleaned, verified address that is formatted according to postal standards.

If you use the international postal address validation, you must place the zipcode and city field before the rest of the address. (This is not necessary for France or Belgium).

How does Email validation work?

From the very first character entered in the email field, a series of suggestions with the format first name + last name is offered, displaying the most commonly observed combinations. This list becomes more refined as the user continues typing. (Prerequisite: The first name and last name fields must be present and completed before the email field.)

Similarly, we then offer a suggestion of domain names sorted by popularity and then alphabetically. The list will become more refined as the user continues typing.

We ensure that the domain name is correctly configured and properly associated with an email server. Specifically, we check for the presence of MX (Mail Exchanger) records in the domain's DNS zone (MX lookup).

The final step involves ensuring that the user (the local part) actually exists within the domain. In other words, does "johndoes" really exist at "gmail.com" (for the address johndoe@gmail.com)?

To do this, we send a request to the mail server and interpret its response.

We also detect the presence of disposable emails (like yopmail.fr) or email addresses that are likely to be spam traps.

How does the Mobile Phone validation work?

Mobile phone validation is done through a HLR lookup. A HLR lookup provides information about the telephone number including if the telephone number exists. A HLR lookup provides information about a telephone number, NOT a telephone user and can not provide any identifiable information about a human user.

The syntax of the Phone number, once verified is: +32457554125, where +32 is the country indicator. This cannot be changed.

How you can activate / configure the feature ?

A short delay is to be expected when subscribing to the feature while we're activating it with your rights (+/- 24h). You will be notified when it's ready to use.

Once activated, the feature is available to be configured on your forms. You'll have to select the fields of application for your use case (those for which you don't have a subscription won't appear). Configuration can be modified from a form to another.

Depending on the targeted audience, you'll have to build your form slightly differently. The difference is made on the Qualifio's website country on which your campaign is published, by default, or after the filling of the "country" form field by the participant if this one is asked in your form.

There are two distinct form scenarios that refer to two different database repository. That's why it's essential that you respect the construction order of your form following these two templates :

  • Form dedicated to France, Belgium and Switzerland :

  • Form dedicated to the rest of the world :
