Show the form before the questionnaire
This option allows you to place your form before the questions in your campaign. By default, the form is placed after the questions, at the end of your campaign.
In some campaign types (such as an identified Sudden death quiz), the form automatically appears before the questionnaire. Why? That way, you make sure you collect data on all participants in your campaign. E.g. in the Sudden death campaign format, participants are eliminated from their first wrong answer. If they know they've lost, what are the chances they will still complete the form with their information?
What should you do if you use the pre-filling of the form?
Nowadays, users usually come to forms expecting not to have to fill everything out, since you already know part of the information about them. Therefore, pre-filling the form can be helpful: users don't need to fill it out because the existing information can be retrieved. Which means less work for them!
Pre-filled forms can also help lower data-entry errors, thereby improving the quality of your data.
That is why, to make the user's life easier, we have a feature that allows you to automatically pre-fill a form based on CRM or emailing variables. This pre-fill option basically provides a form that already shows the participant's previously entered information, like their name and email address.
Qualifio also offers Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations that allow your participants to populate fields on your forms with information from their accounts. When going to the form, they'll arrive on a screen that requires authenticating with your SSO before the form is displayed. Once the participant has entered their credentials, it will auto-fill the fields with the information from the SSO account.
When using either of those pre-fill features, you may skip the form if all required fields are pre-filled. That way, it cuts the visual noise, and users don't have to figure out what to do with the pre-filled fields.
In summary, there is only one time when the form can be skipped:
- You are using the pre-fill option to pre-populate form fields based on existing information from your CRM / emailing platform or SSO.
- And you have ticked the option to skip the form if all required fields are pre-filled.
Please note that if you activate this option, users aren't going to see the optional fields that might be included in your form. If you want to encourage them to fill out your optional fields as well, avoid ticking the "Skip the form if all required fields are pre-filled" box.
