Understanding your exported data file

Once you export your data to a CSV or XLS (Excel), that file is organised into rows and columns. Each row on the file is a different participation, and each column is a contact detail, a response or campaign metadata (e.g. participation date, IP address, etc.).

Participation exports

It is possible to export data from multiple campaigns all at once vs. exporting the data from each Detailed report and then combining all the sheets into one spreadsheet. You can use Participation exports in the CRM.

FAQs

  • A default name is provided for the files. You cannot edit this name, except for Participation exports.
  • If you load a large dataset or export a great amount of data, it may take a long time.
  • To learn more, see the Campaign Statistics: What do they tell you? support page.
  • Remember that your CSV file must be UTF-8 encoded. It is the recommended file encoding so that special characters in your data can be read. However, whenever we generate a CSV file, Qualifio doesn’t automatically encode it as UTF-8. The solution is thus to convert your CSV file to UTF-8 in Microsoft Excel.
