What is the “Public name”?

The Public name is a new field shown in the first step of campaign setup. It defines the public title of your campaign. It will not be shown to your audience, but it will principally be heard by users using a screen reader while navigating on the campaign.

Where will this name appear?

The Public name will automatically be used as:

  • The General Content > Title (Virality)
  • The minisite meta title (for screen readers to read a clear and meaningful title, SEO & sharing)
  • The title attribute of the iframe when you embed your campaign on a website (so that screen readers read a clear and meaningful title).

Is it mandatory?

No. If you don’t provide a Public name, Qualifio will fall back to your campaign’s internal title.

The campaign’s internal title remains mandatory.

Why is this important?

Adding a clear Public name helps:

  • Ensure your campaign has a consistent title across all channels (minisite, widget, integrations, and sharing).
  • Improve the accessibility of your campaigns (screen readers announce a meaningful title).
  • Strengthen your SEO and the way your campaign appears when shared online.

Can I edit it later?

Yes. The Public name is prefilled when you create your campaign, but you can edit it anytime. Changes will automatically apply to the widget, minisite, and sharing integrations.

Does this change my campaign’s internal title?

No. The internal title remains required and is only used internally in Qualifio. The Public name is the one your participants and visitors will encounter (mainly through screen readers).
