Shared prizes let you reuse the same prizes across multiple "Instant Win" type of campaigns, with one shared stock and counter.
- The supported formats are: Instant Win, Wheel of Fortune and Jackpot (all under "instant win" type of campaigns)
- The post draw campaigns (such as quiz, forms, ...) where the winners are drawn afterwards are not yet supported.
What is a "shared prize set" ?
A prize set is the list of prizes configured in the Prizes tab of a campaign.
When you link campaigns to the same prize set:
- The prizes within the list are shared
- All quantity and win counters are shared
- Editing a prize in one linked campaign updates the prize in all campaigns sharing the same prize set, reflecting the change everywhere
Typical use cases
- Run the same campaign across multiple languages while keeping a single shared stock, to avoid manual split of the prizes across the different campaigns
- Launch a follow-up campaign that continues distributing the same remaining prizes from the initial campaign
How to link an existing prize set to a new campaign
On an empty prize list, click Select a campaign:
A modal will open and show eligible prize sets (through campaigns) that you can link to:
💡 A prize set is eligible if it:
- belongs to the same account
- comes from a campaign that is not deleted and not expired
- uses the same prize allocation type (instant win)
- has at least one winnable prize
After confirming the link, the prize list is now shared with the selected campaigns, including all counters and indicators.
How do counters work?
With shared prize sets:
- Each prize has now one shared counter
- The "won" and "remaining" values you see are aggregated across all linked campaigns
- If a participant wins a prize in a Campaign A, you'll see the same counter increase in Campaign B
What can I edit in a shared prize set?
You can edit prizes from any linked campaign. Changes apply to the shared set.
Common editable fields:
- Name & description
- Image
- URL
- Probability & Calendar
- Quantity
The same rules from non-shared prize sets apply to the shared ones to protect already awarded prizes:
- Quantity cannot be lowered below the number already won, now across all linked campaigns
- Allocation method can only be changed if no units have been distributed, now across all linked campaigns
- Calendar rules apply across the linked campaign, you cannot move already won units
⛔️ Time zones & prize calendars
Calendar-based prize availability doesn't support multiple time zones within a shared prize set. If your linked campaigns are published on websites using different time zones, the calendar schedule may be applied inconsistently between campaigns. We recommend using the same time zone across linked campaigns or avoid calendar-based prizes in that specific setup.
Can I translate prizes in a shared prize set?
Yes. If your shared prize set is used in campaigns with different languages, you can translate the prize content so it displays the information in the campaign's language.
The following fields can be translated per language:
- Name & description
- Image & its alternative text
- URL
While the settings of the prize such as the number of units and the allocation method stays common across all languages.
The first time you open prizes in a newly added language, translatable fields will be pre-filled with the source language value to help you translate without having to do back and forth between language tabs. It also will be used if you forget to translate a field for your prize.
Adding or removing prizes in a shared set
Adding a prize
When you create a new prize in any linked campaign:
- it is automatically added to the shared prize set
- it becomes visible in all campaigns linked to that set
Removing a prize
A prize can be deleted only if it has not been distributed across all linked campaigns. Removing it will remove it from all linked campaigns linked to that set.
If a prize has been partially distributed, removing it:
- make all remaining (undistributed) units of the prize removed
- the prize becomes non-winnable and stays visible for history (greyed out and fully won)
How to unlink a prize set?
Unlinking a prize set depends on multiple factors:
- If the campaign is the only one linked to a prize set, unlinking is blocked. But you can always delete all prizes (if none have been distributed already) that start fresh again.
- If a campaign has already awarded prizes, unlinking is also blocked from that campaign to avoid mismatches in statistics, for example.
Otherwise you can simply click on Detach prize list to unlink the prize set from this campaign, and go back on an empty prize list screen. The other campaigns referencing that prize set will keep referencing it.
What happens if I delete a campaign that shares prizes?
If you delete a campaign that shared prizes with other campaigns, to avoid losing the history preservation and mismatch in the statistics:
- The remaining campaigns will keep the shared prizes and shared counters
- In the linked campaigns indicator, the campaign name will remain, but no links to it will be present anymore and the "deleted" mention will be added
- Restoring a deleted campaign will not break the feature as well
