You may sometimes notice that the number of participants displayed in your campaign statistics does not exactly match the number shown in your automated or manual participation exports.
This is expected behaviour and does not necessarily indicate an issue with your campaign.
Why does this happen?
Campaign statistics and participation exports rely on different data sources within Qualifio. Since these sources are processed independently, slight differences may occasionally occur between the numbers displayed in each view.
This is also caused by the fact criteria used to define a completed participation can differ depending on the source.
When should I focus on campaign statistics?
Campaign statistics provide an overview of your campaign's performance. They help you monitor participation, engagement and other key metrics while your campaign is running.
They are ideal for quickly understanding how your campaign is performing.
When should I focus on participation exports?
Participation exports give you access to the participant data collected through your campaign.
They are the recommended source when you need to:
- Analyse participant data.
- Export information to another system.
- Feed a CRM or another integration.
- Work with participant-level data.
How should I interpret the numbers?
Rather than comparing the numbers directly, use each view for its intended purpose: campaign statistics to monitor your campaign, and participation exports to work with participant data, reporting or integrations.
