Manage data pushes

About integrations & data pushes

Sending (or “pushing”) data to third-party applications allows you to have all of your collected data in one place for automation, analytics, marketing and much more!

The Qualifio platform offers different ways to send the details of every new participation in your campaigns to your favourite tools. See Integrations: Connect Qualifio with the tools you already use to have all your data in one place.

Manage data pushes effectively

To easily and effectively manage and control the push of your data, Qualifio allows you to define different rules based on different needs (at website/campaign level). Setting up your push rules upfront also means one less manual task for your teams, which is always a win. Finally, you also eliminate risks associated with forgetting to enable push integrations in forms and campaigns.

The availability of this feature depends on the type and date of your Qualifio integration. You might have access to it if you’re using the webhook 2.0 or if your data push was set up or updated after January 28, 2021.

Configure your default data pushes

As an Admin user, you can configure your default data push(es) in Settings > Data pushes.

Create exceptions

As an Admin user, you can also create exceptions in Settings > Data pushes.

Use this procedure to create an exception and push data to another tool or app:

  1. Open the Settings and click Data pushes.
  2. Select a level (website/campaign).
  3. In the Name column, type the name of a website or campaign.
Note: When the "campaign" level is selected, the campaigns appearing in the list are those whose publication dates are present and future – regardless of the campaign status (ON/OFF).
  4. Under Where should we push the data?, select a third-party service.
  5. Click the add button.
  6. Click Save.

In order to create an exception with no push of the data, leave the field empty:

In the example above, data collected through the “Johnny Cash lyrics quiz” won’t be pushed to any tool or app.

Edit or delete an exception

  1. Open the Settings and click Data pushes.
  2. In the exception list, click the edit or delete button.
  3. Click Save.
Any exception that you delete will automatically remove the push from the campaign(s) it applied to.

If you accidentally delete an exception, you can get it back by clicking "" and then clicking Save. This will undo the delete action.

Preview which data pushes are active in a campaign

  1. Open the campaign > Settings step.
  2. Locate the Data pushes section and click it.
  3. A preview of the pushes active in the campaign opens.

As an Admin user, you can change this by clicking Manage your data pushes.

Can multiple exceptions apply to the same campaign?

Yes. However, you should consider the following when using exceptions: the more specific rule wins. So, a rule set up at the campaign level wins over a rule set up at the website level, which wins over the default setup of the account.

Campaign rules > Website rules > Account rules

For instance, in the example above:

  • There’s an exception at the website level: data collected on Website A should be pushed to Salesforce.
  • There’s also an exception at the campaign level: data from the quiz “How much do you know about the new Covid rules?” should be pushed using the webhook.

But what if that quiz was actually published on Website A? What happens then? Data collected via the quiz would be pushed using the webhook. That is because the rule set up at the campaign level wins over the one set up at the website level.

Campaign > Website > Account

You can select multiple pushes for the same campaign or website.
