It is possible to duplicate a campaign from one Qualifio account to another account you have access to. This feature is designed for organisations managing multiple accounts and looking to standardise campaign setups while saving time.
Who can cross account duplicate campaigns?
You can use this option if:
- You have access to at least two accounts
- Your user role includes the permission to duplicate campaigns in those accounts
In Qualifio, the permission to duplicate campaigns is available for Admin, Marketer, Editor and External users. For more details, see User roles & permissions.
Where can I find the feature?
From the Campaigns list, open the three dots menu on the campaign you want to copy and select Cross-account duplication.
How does the cross account duplication work?
- From the campaign list, click the three little dots next to the campaign and choose Cross-account duplication
- A modal will show on screen where you can select the target account
- You can search by typing in the field
- Only accounts you have access to and enough rights to duplicate in will appear
- Select the target website of your duplicated campaign
- Only websites you have access to will be shown
-
(Optional) Select a form to link to the duplicated campaign
- If you don't select a form, the duplicated campaign will have an empty form in the target account
- Only forms you have the rights to select will appear in the dropdown
- Anonymous campaigns will not be linked to forms or become identified even if you select a form to link to them. If your initial campaign didn't have a form, you can leave or fill this field, the target campaign won't have a form.
- Click Duplicate
- Once the duplication is complete, you can manually switch to the target account to find and open your duplicated campaign
- Don't forget to change the name of your campaign as by default it will contain the duplication keyword and date of the duplication in the title
- Publish your campaign by activating it, as by default it will be set to inactive so you can first preview it and make sure everything is configured properly.
What is and what is not duplicated?
The duplicated campaign keeps the same configuration and content as the source campaign, including campaign settings and options, except for the account-specific elements listed below.
What is not duplicated?
Forms (and form-related settings)
Forms are not duplicated as-is during cross-account duplication. Instead you can optionally link an existing form from the target account. To cross-account duplicate form, don't hesitate to refer to the dedicated article.
This means all options linked to your form such as SSO, the position of your form and so on won't be duplicated as well.
Integrations, webhooks & pushes
Since all these options are account specific, they are not duplicated and will have to be set up again on the campaign with the correct data.
Unique codes
The list of unique codes are account specific are not shared cross-account, hence why these lists are not duplicated. This means in your duplicated campaign you need to go and link to an available list of unique codes available in the target account.
Advanced features
If the campaign you're duplicating relies on advanced features, those features must be enabled in the target account as well.
- If one or more required advanced features are not enabled in the target account, there will be an error message displayed in the modal.
- Enable them first in the target account and then retry the duplication.
To enable Advanced Features, check out the dedicated article about it.
