The settings step defines the operational conditions of your campaign. While the previous steps helped you create the actual campaign, this step controls who can participate, how often they can enter and how the campaign behaves legally and technically once published.
It brings together participation limits, contest rules, rankings and technical configurations such as integrations and browser compatibility.
Participation limits
Qualifio allows you to control participation using two different types of limits: global limitations and individual limitations.
Global limitation (campaign-wide)
A global limitation restricts the total number of participations allowed in the entire campaign.
Once this number is reached, the campaign automatically stops accepting new entries, even if new users try to participate. This is typically used when:
- there is a fixed number of prizes available,
- an campaign is limited to a certain number of entries,
- or a promotion must stop after reaching a defined number of entries.
Individual limitation (per participant)
An individual limitation restricts how many times the same participant can enter the campaign.
The platform identifies participants using available identifiers (such as email address or IP address). You can allow:
- a single participation per user,
- multiple entries,
- or a defined number of attempts.
This prevents users from repeatedly entering to increase their chances of winning.
Limitation during a specific time period
You can also restrict participation within a specific time window.
For example, a user may only be allowed to participate once during a specific day or period. After the period ends, participation can be allowed again.
This is useful for short promotional operations or daily challenges.
Limitation with a regular frequency
Instead of a fixed time window, you may set a recurring participation frequency.
After each period resets, the participant can play again. This setup is commonly used for recurring campaigns such as daily quizzes, seasonal games or loyalty programs.
When a participant reaches the allowed number of entries within the defined period, additional attempts are automatically blocked until the next cycle begins.
You can draft messages to let the participants now if the participation limit has been reached.

Contest rules and acceptance
Campaigns can include official contest rules explaining eligibility conditions, prize details and participation requirements. The rules can be displayed within the campaign so participants can access them at any time.
From the Settings step, you can either select rules you have previously created form the tab "Content" in the main menu, or draft new rules at that specific time on the editor.
To validate acceptance, you can add an “I agree to the rules” checkbox in the form. Participants must accept the rules before submitting their participation. This confirms they have read and agreed to the conditions and helps ensure legal compliance.

Leaderboard
You also have the option of activating a leaderboard. The ranking shows participants their position based on performance (for example score or points).
This encourages engagement and repeat participation while also providing transparency about results.

Data push integrations
When your campaign is connected to an external CRM or marketing platform, Qualifio can automatically send participant data via data push integrations.
From the Settings step you can:
- verify if submissions were successfully transmitted,
- detect failed pushes,
- and resend missing data.

Facebook in-app browser compatibility
Some users open campaigns directly from social media apps such as Facebook. In this case, the campaign runs inside Facebook’s internal browser, which behaves differently from a standard mobile browser.
Qualifio provides compatibility handling for this environment to avoid loading, tracking or form-submission issues and to ensure the campaign works correctly when accessed from social platforms.
