The welcome screen is the first page visible to participants when they open a Qualifio campaign. It is not just an introduction: this step plays a central role in explaining the concept, encouraging participation, securing the operation, and highlighting partners.
Personalization and Content
To begin with, the welcome screen serves to present the campaign to the participant. It usually contains a welcome message, some instructions, a visual, and the “Participate” button. However, this page remains optional: if left empty, the participant is automatically redirected to the first question, which is common for simple surveys or forms.
You can also adapt the message depending on the campaign period. Before launch, the page can display a teaser or an opening date. During the campaign, it serves as the main introduction. After the campaign ends, it can show a closing message, thank participants, or announce the winners.
All content is editable: text formatting, colors, and layout can be adjusted, and you can insert links, images, or videos.

Using Dynamic Variables
Additionally, by using tags like {firstname}, you can address your visitor by their first name if recognized by the system. This significantly increases the campaign completion rate.

Sponsors and Partners
Once the introductory content is configured, the same screen can also be used to promote partners. From Home > Sponsors, you can add a sponsor by providing their name, logo, website URL, and a personalized text. Logos are automatically resized and can be edited, deleted, or rearranged.
Beyond this section, sponsors can also appear elsewhere in the campaign, for example in the banner or footer, or directly in the welcome message via a clickable link. Partners thus gain visibility right from the first page.

Security and Access Control
In addition to communication and branding, the welcome screen also allows you to control access to the campaign.
You can first require an access code. The participant must enter the correct code (received by email or printed on a flyer, for example) before being able to participate. This code is the same for all users.

For more controlled operations, you can use unique codes. Each participant then receives a personal code usable only once and verified in real time against your database. This setup is often used for purchase-related campaigns and requires an active welcome screen.

Anti-bot Protection (Captcha)
After limiting access, you can also protect the campaign against automated entries. The welcome screen allows you to activate a captcha that must be validated before entering the campaign.
The integrated Qualifio captcha offers a simple verification asking the user to enter characters.
If more advanced protection is needed, you can integrate an external captcha such as Google reCAPTCHA, hCaptcha, or Cloudflare Turnstile.
These solutions reduce abuse, improve data quality, and can decrease participant drop-off.
